For independent creators, studios and agencies
Keep the creative work connected to the plan.
A production is more than a task list. Briefs, visual references, scripts, schedules, budgets and feedback all shape what happens next. Noderama puts those pieces into one visual project so the team can follow the work from first idea to delivery.
Example: plan a short film or animated advert
Start with the main stages, then add parallel preparation where the work can happen independently. Connect a later stage only to the work it actually needs. This example shows how planning nodes and creative tools can fit together; adapt the scope and timing to your production.
- 01 / DirectionBrief and visual idea
Write the brief in a Note. Collect references in a Moodboard, explore drawings in Artboard and add an Approval for the agreed direction.
- 02 / PreparationPlan the production
Develop a Script and Storyboard. Use Location for venues and stops, Stage for the floor plan, and tasks for crew, kit and other preparations.
- 03 / ReviewMake and refine
Schedule capture, animation and editing. Add versions to Image, Video or Audio Review and collect precise feedback beside the work.
- 04 / DeliveryApprove and hand over
Record the final decision in an Approval node. Put the deliverables into a Checklist and mark the handover date with a Milestone.
Give each part of the team a useful view
A visual plan for the big picture
Graph view shows dependencies and groups together. Put independent departments on separate branches and join them at real handoffs. Deep Nodes hold the detail without turning every reference image or storyboard frame into another scheduling task.
A table and timeline for the day-to-day work
Scan owners, progress and dates in Table. Use Timeline to see overlapping tasks and check deadlines against the project’s working days. Moving between views keeps the same project and connections.
Reviewers can contribute without rearranging the plan
Invite a client or collaborator with comment access to give feedback. Invite editors when they need to change the project. Share a direct link to the relevant review node so people can find the right place; the link does not replace the workspace’s access controls. Use an Approval node when a decision needs to gate the next stage.
Keep production costs beside the work
Add equipment, venue and travel expenses as Cost nodes in the relevant group. When budget tracking is available, the Hub brings project costs and estimates into one view. Check rates, durations and assignments before relying on an estimate, and avoid adding the same labour twice as both a team rate and an extra cost.
Start with a real project, at a manageable scale
Try a brief with a clear result: a product photoshoot, a short film, an animation or a design delivery. Build the main stages first and add only the branches your work needs. Free includes three active projects, one editor and ready-made templates. Compare the current plans when you need more room or team editing.
